The Exchange, by John Grisham. A sequel to The Firm, this freshly published novel continues the story of Mitch and Abby McDeere 15 years after exposing Memphis law firm Bendini, Lambert & Locke.

Pilgrim at Tinker Creek, by Annie Dillard.  This 1975 Pulitzer Prize for General Nonfiction is a personal narrative which highlights Dillard’s year-long exploration on foot in the Virginia region through which Tinker Creek runs.

The Paris Housekeeper, by Renee Ryan. The plot of this historical fiction involves Camille Lacroix, a chambermaid at the famous hotel Ritz in Paris during German occupancy, who must stay to support her family. Camille serves as maid to longtime guest, Vivian Miller, who appears to be a Nazi sympathizer, but is in fact, using her connections to obtain travel papers for Jewish refugees. 

The Weekend Retreat, by Tara Laskowski. The Van Ness siblings are heirs to a copper fortune and are gathering for a birthday celebration. During the three days, the three couples host a family getaway to die for at their luxury winery estate. Readers who want to be thrilled will enjoy this action-packed book.

Save God Benedict Arnold, by Jack Kelly. This true story about Benedict Arnold explores his achievements in the years before the Revolutionary War before he became the most notorious traitor The United States of America has ever seen. Nonfiction readers may find this book fascinating.
