Introducing our Chief Operating Officer, Jose Paulo Calvillo! Jose has been with the Foundation since 2014 and was one of the first members to join the team. He is a determined, yet selfless individual who thrives on completing tasks and working until the job is done. When he’s not at work, Jose is a devoted family man, who enjoys spending quality time with his wife and son.  When asked his favorite color, Jose stated, “The color of my wife’s eyes.”

When wanting to escape reality, In the Heart of the Sea: The Tragedy of the Whaleship Essex by Nathaniel Philbrick is the book Jose chooses to dive into. Jose partakes in some entertaining activities such as wheat penny collecting and listening to all types of music. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music, it’s no surprise he enjoys jamming out to Guns N Roses, Kiss, and AC/DC, among a variety of other music genres.

 He loves all food (expect anything produced by FiberOne) and enjoys Obleas when craving something particularly sweet. As for movie genres, Jose prefers gritty Sci-Fi flicks.

The Foundation would not be where it is today without Jose. His quick wit and engaging personality shine brightly among our team. He never hesitates to help a fellow team member and has a solution for every obstacle. Being a veteran member of the team, he leads and works to guide our organization in making a substantial difference in the community. We are grateful for his contribution and commitment to our team.
